About this concept

Clearview built this concept for Westside Regional Center’s Website Redesign and Brand Management RFP. You can click through it, not just read about it.

Two concepts, one site

We built two concepts on the same content, so you can compare two ways in:

  • Concept A, “I want to…”: starts from the task. Your own Quick Answers become the front door. Open concept A
  • Concept B, “Help at every age”: starts from the person’s age, in a bolder look: the sun and waves from your logo fill whole sections. Your five Services-by-age pages become the front door, and each item is entered once and shown at every age it is for. Open concept B

You are looking at concept B. Both share the plain-language pages, the style guide and the accessibility work. You can choose either, or mix them, at the same price.

What it shows

  • Plain language on your own pages. Both Eligibility pages are rewritten and measured. See before and after.
  • Families first. Every page is one click from the homepage. The order follows the RFP: people you serve and families, then providers, then staff.
  • Access built in. ASL video slots, captions, and code that meets WCAG 2.2 AA without a widget.
  • A guide staff can follow. The staff style guide covers colours, plain-language rules and a publishing checklist.

What it is not

  • Not the official site. The real site is westsiderc.org.
  • Not the production platform. The new site would be built in WordPress, as the RFP asks, in WRC’s own hosting account.
  • Not a new brand. The logo, colours and fonts are yours.
  • Not final text. The rewrites are drafts. WRC’s staff check every fact, and people WRC serves test the pages, before anything is published.
  • Not every page. Pages we didn’t rebuild link to your current site, marked ↗.

Where the content comes from

Everything about WRC comes from your public website, captured on 25 October 2026: pages, menu, events, news and contact details. We invented no facts. Event audience tags, which age each item is for in concept B, and the short “Coming next” notes are our proposal. The sun-and-waves drawing is our simple version of your logo. Concept B uses three photos from your own website, chosen so that no one WRC serves can be identified; any production photography would be WRC’s choice.

How it was made

The concept runs on Nanopage, a site platform Clearview is involved in building through our CTO, Jasmin Ihtijarevic. We use it to prototype. Nothing in our proposal depends on it.

How it was tested

Every page was checked with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 AA, at desktop and phone widths, with design notes on and off, and at 200% text size. The full testing log comes with our proposal.

The concept is hidden from search engines. We will take it down whenever WRC asks.
